RESOURCES HIMALAYA FOUNDATION is a non-governmental (NGO), non-profit, knowledge-based organization. By 2004, our collaborative work had reached Bhutan, India and Nepal which prompted it to establish it as a regional think-tank in the Himalaya.

In the last 25 years, RHF has widened its collaborative horizon into agriculture, biodiversity, protected areas and wildlife conservation, remote sensing/GIS, community forestry, nature tourism, mentorship, ethnography and social studies. RHF has garnered regional experience through our collaborative works of over several hundred research projects in Bhutan, India and Nepal.

Since 2010, The Foundation has moved more into societal issues and human resource development from science-based resource conservation.

A weekly e‐News (Headlines Himalaya - an environmental watchdog newsletter) is an attempt to keep the global readers abreast with the happenings in the Himalaya. Subscription is free.
