»Joint attack: According to Indian sources Indian and Nepali Maoistshave launched a coordinated attack on a police station in Bihar, India.About 100 Maoists from Nepal were also involved in the attack, the Indianpolice said. At least 21 people were killed in the gunbattle.
»Separate movments: CPN- UML general secretary Nepal ruled outdialogue and agreement with the king until the parliament is revived tohold the election of a constituent assembly. The Maoists should be broughtto the mainstream. However, the Maoists and the political parties may stagea protest movement separately even if the immediate collaboration withthe rebels is not possible.

June262005»Gunbattles: Maoist rebels attacked a security checkpoint in Bardiyadistrict. At least five Maoist rebels and a soldier have been killed inthe encounter. A heavy gunbattle has erupted between the security forcesand Maoist rebels in Arghakhanchi district. 12 security personnel and 6Maoist rebels have been killed in the gunfire, Army sources said.
