After the first goal, it was all Yeedzin’s show and the few spectators knew a thrashing was in the air. Surely hat-trick hero Kinga Thinley opened his account exactly five minutes after the opener. In the 24th minute, Kinga Thinley scored his second and Yeedzin’s third. By the first half ended, Yeedzin has found the net six times and Kinga Thinley had completed his hat trick in the first half. The second half was the same story as Yeedzin scored the seventh few minutes after the restart. Nangpa got a consolation goal just before the whistle in the regular time. On the 90th minute, Nangpa’s Pema Tshering took advantage of Yeedzin’s players going forward to get their 10th goal and scored the only goal to save Nangpa’s embarrassment of a 9-0 score sheet. By then Yeedzin has completed their 9-1 routing of Nangpa. Seven teams are playing in the tournament, which kicked off on June 26. According to Dipen Basnet, the coordinator, the champions will be awarded a cash prize of Nu 250,000. The runners up will win Nu80, 000 and Nu 50,000 for the third place.
