The Sherubtse College is member of the national university system in Bhutan. The university system includes 10 member colleges:

Till four years ago students of Sherubtse college in Kanglung went to the college library for just one reason : to browse and borrow books.

Those days visits to the library could be described as a rush. There was an extra attraction - 20 pentium 4 computers connected to a 128kbps (kilo bytes per second) internet leaseline (meanwhile the infrastructure had been upgraded) .
